Founder: Elio Sarmiento Araujo, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Accounting, Financial and Tax experience. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Education

Elio Sarmiento Araujo is a seasoned accountant and financial consultant with a career spanning nearly two decades in both the private and public sectors. He graduated with a degree in Public Accounting from the University of Carabobo in 2005. Shortly after, he began his professional journey as an accountant at one of Venezuela’s leading national television networks. He then advanced to a prominent external audit firm, where he 

gained deep experience as a financial auditor, providing assurance

services to major clients across various industries. His career 

continued at one of Venezuela’s largest multinational automotive 

companies, where he served as a corporate accountant and 

developed expertise in financial operations within a global business environment.

Motivated by a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to create a lasting impact in his profession, Elio Sarmiento went on to establish his own accounting and tax practice. Over the course of more than nine years, he provided trusted advisory and compliance services to numerous businesses helping them grow while maintaining financial transparency and meeting legal obligations.

Today, as the founder of Sarjel Financial Group LLC, he brings that same commitment, knowledge, and integrity to clients in the United States offering personalized solutions in accounting, tax, and consulting to help individuals and organizations achieve financial clarity and long-term success.

U.S. PROFESSIONAL STANDARS

To ensure full transparency and meet U.S. professional standards, his academic and professional qualifications have been officially evaluated by a recognized credential evaluation agency in the United States. Based on this evaluation, his degree in Public Accounting earned is confirmed as equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Elio Sarmiento is not currently a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Florida; however, he is actively pursuing CPA licensure to meet the legal requirements for performing financial audits and signing CPA-certified documents. Despite not yet holding a CPA license, he is a qualified and experienced accounting professional, fully capable of providing general accounting services, bookkeeping, payroll processing, tax preparation (holding both a PTIN and EFIN with the IRS), financial consulting, and administrative support services. His practice is committed to delivering high-quality, compliant, and ethical financial services within the scope permitted by law.
